Thanksgiving Tablescape Craft

Setting the table for Thanksgiving brings me more joy than the cooking. So when it comes time to do up the table we really get cooking. E has a natural eye already for table scaping. The place card kit is from Oriental Trading.

Thanksgiving Cards

You know there are projects in the camera that have been done long ago, yet the time to sit at this machine and just upload seems to never come.
This is a project for 2 and up.
M&E made great cards like these for family members by using fallen leaves from our front tree.
I recommend using tacky glue to adhere the leaf down and try to find a flat leaf so it doesn't curl up. If you can't find flat leaves, flatten the leaf using the old "between book pages" pressed method. M&E stamped "Happy Thanksgiving" with gold ink and a stamp we found last year at the dollar store. If you haven't checked out your local dollar store for craft materials to use with kids,do so, sometimes they surprise you.
